Gummy Bears are among us and they are just like you and me: coy, funny, playful, reflective and mischievous. I just catch them in their natural setting.
I realized my love of gummy photography at the The Dallas Morning News. One day when I needed a break from routine, I just started shooting the gummies I bought from our dinner and putting them in funny and realistic situations and it took off from there. First the cubicle, then everywhere...
I like to leave the bears doing what they do without forcing it too much. They can be fussy. You may even see people or random stuff in the background...Part of their charm! And yes, I prefer the "y" instead of the "i." And sometimes it's hard not to eat the subjects.
